Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Information Security Engineer Senior I to contribute to our cybersecurity initiatives at Aberdeen Proving Ground. This role is primarily REMOTE with occasional travel to the customer site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Information Assurance and Cybersecurity operations under ASRC Federal's CECOM SETA Support.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to protect Army systems from cybersecurity threats.
- Utilize your expertise to ensure the security and reliability of mission-critical operations.
Essential Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in Cyber Security administration.
- Familiarity with DoD security requirements and compliance, including CTOs, OPORDS, STIG, and ACAS.
- Proficient in PowerShell and Linux shell scripting for task automation and system security enhancement.
- Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools such as Splunk, AWS Security Hub, and AWS Detective.
- Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities.
- Possession of CISSP, Security+, or other relevant Technical Certifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of ERP SAP environments.
- Familiarity with Trellix ePO and DevSecOps.
- Experience with ServiceNow.
- Background in Agile Framework environments.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related Technical discipline with a focus on Information Security or Cyber Security. An advanced degree is preferred.
- Must be Information Assurance (IA) Trained and Certified per the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in Information Security Engineering or related activities within the last 10 years.
- IAT Level 2 certification as per AR 25-2 and DoD M.
- 10 years of professional experience within the last 15 years, with appropriate computing environment certification.
- Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for a Secret security clearance.
