Position Overview: This role is integral to supporting Agile project management initiatives under ASRC Federal's CECOM SETA Support within the PEO EIS MSP. The PEO EIS MSP is responsible for ensuring the efficient management and delivery of IT projects for the U.S. Army through Agile methodologies. As a Scrum Master Journeyman I, you will facilitate cross-functional teams, eliminate obstacles, and uphold Agile principles while promoting continuous improvement and high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support Agile project management efforts.
  • Assist in the facilitation of cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Identify and remove barriers to team progress.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and principles.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in IT service management with a focus on Agile methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Technical knowledge of AWS services and best practices.
  • Proven leadership capabilities in managing IT teams.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, particularly in incident, problem, and change management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) is advantageous.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • Familiarity with iterative development fundamentals, including backlog tracking and burndown metrics.
  • Experience with distributed software development teams.

  • Demonstrated capability in managing Agile software development efforts.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for a Secret security clearance.
