Position Title: Software Developer Senior I

Job Summary: We are in search of a Software Developer Senior I to contribute to our ongoing projects at Aberdeen Proving Ground. This role is primarily REMOTE, with occasional travel to the client site necessary.

Role Responsibilities: The selected candidate will play a vital role in software development and engineering initiatives under ASRC Federal's CECOM SETA Support within the PEO EIS MSP. The PEO EIS MSP is responsible for ensuring that the U.S. Army's software applications are effectively designed, developed, and maintained to meet operational needs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing software applications.
  • Creating tools and interfaces to enhance functionality.
  • Ensuring adherence to secure coding practices in line with DoD standards.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a ServiceNow Developer role or a comparable position.
  • Proficient understanding of ServiceNow and its functionalities, including scripting languages and database management.
  • Experience in developing dashboards, reports, and integrating with other platforms.
  • Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages like Java or C#.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • ServiceNow certification (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist or Certified Administrator) is mandatory.

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining software for engineering applications within the last 7 years.
  • Experience collaborating with analysts to comprehend their requirements.
  • Proficiency in developing tools and interfaces.
  • Ability to design, develop, and test software applications at the operating systems level.
  • Experience in setting operational specifications and analyzing software requirements.
  • Knowledge in designing embedded systems software.
  • Cybersecurity Requirements: IA Technical Level: IAT-1, Personnel Security Standards: IT-II, Position Sensitivity Designation: Noncritical-sensitive (ADP-II), Federal Investigative Standards: TIER 3.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for a Secret security clearance.
