Real Estate Litigation Paralegal

Ascendion is seeking a skilled and experienced Real Estate Litigation Paralegal to join their team. This role is designed for a professional who is proficient in managing complex real estate disputes and has expertise in legal software tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support attorneys in real estate litigation matters, including foreclosures, landlord-tenant disputes, and boundary issues.
  • Manage and maintain case files in Relativity; ensure timely updating and organization of legal documents and correspondence.
  • Utilize PACER to track and retrieve federal court documents and file court documents electronically.
  • Assist with the preparation of pleadings, discovery requests, and responses.
  • Prepare for depositions, hearings, trials, and arbitrations; organize exhibits, files, and all other supporting documents.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Certified Paralegal (CP) or Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) credentials are highly desirable.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a paralegal, with substantial experience in real estate litigation.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Relativity for document management in a legal setting and familiarity with PACER.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Extensive knowledge of real estate law and litigation procedures.
