About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Guest Services Associate to join our team at Wyndham Destinations. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration and Check-in: Welcome guests, verify their reservations, and provide them with a warm and personalized check-in experience.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk, handle guest inquiries, and resolve any issues or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Room Assignments and Key Distribution: Assign rooms to guests, distribute keys, and ensure that all rooms are clean and ready for occupancy.
  • Cash Handling and Transactions: Process cash and credit card transactions, balance cash receipts, and perform other cashier/money handling responsibilities.
  • Guest Services: Provide guests with information about the resort, local attractions, and services, and assist them with any requests or needs they may have.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management, and resolve any issues or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Customer Service Experience: Have previous experience in customer-facing roles, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Possess strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Basic Math Skills: Have basic math skills and knowledge of proper cash handling procedures.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Be a team player, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
