Project Overview

Milestone Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Sustainability Manager to join our Net Zero initiative. This position will play a crucial role in advancing our supplier engagement strategy, with a primary focus on fostering collaboration and conducting analyses to facilitate the reduction of value chain emissions by 2030.

We are in search of adaptable and intelligent candidates who thrive in cross-functional environments, possess strong analytical abilities, and demonstrate exceptional communication skills. The ideal applicant will have extensive experience in greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, particularly in scope 3 emissions, and a proven history of engaging suppliers on sustainability efforts, as well as developing GHG targets and roadmaps in a dynamic technology setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement engagement strategies with selected suppliers to achieve reductions in value chain GHG emissions.
  • Evaluate supplier GHG data, targets, roadmaps, and solutions to identify trends and inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., procurement, supplier management) and external partners (suppliers) to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Enhance the impact of supplier and internal initiatives to expedite GHG emissions reductions across the value chain.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to support the creation and execution of new and ongoing GHG reduction initiatives.
  • Communicate program progress effectively to internal stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, business, or a related discipline.
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in sustainability-related fields.
  • Expertise in GHG accounting, target setting, roadmap development, and supplier engagement.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex datasets, including proficiency in advanced Excel and data analytics.
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities with a track record of successfully managing complex deliverables in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • A collaborative team player and strategic thinker capable of generating ideas and scaling initiatives that enhance GHG emissions reduction efforts.
  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to diplomatically resolve conflicts and achieve alignment among diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working with interdisciplinary teams (e.g., Sustainability, Procurement, Business, Engineering) and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Flexibility and eagerness to learn and contribute to various projects.
  • Familiarity with global and sector-specific sustainability initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of Milestone Technologies, Inc.'s products and services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel (10%).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA, Master's in Sustainability Management, Environmental Science).
  • Experience with GHG software and tools.
  • Proficiency in Tableau.
  • Knowledge of the electrical and electronics manufacturing sector.

Compensation:

The estimated pay range for this position is USD $79.00/Hr - USD $85.00/Hr and is classified as a Non-Exempt role.

Compensation and employment offers will be determined based on individual qualifications, experience, and location.
