The Community Engagement Lead plays a crucial role within the Store Leadership Team, focusing on fostering connections between Project LeanNation Ballantyne and the surrounding community while driving business growth. This entails building and nurturing relationships with local partners, engaging potential customers and members, and educating them about our offerings, community initiatives, and the PLN culture.

Key Responsibilities:
Your duties will encompass:

  • Advocating for and embodying the PLN culture, philosophy, and vision - a vision centered on enhancing health and nutritional awareness within our communities.
  • Organizing and overseeing (or assigning the execution of) 20 marketing initiatives monthly, including community outreach activities, business engagements, fitness events, and in-store promotions.
  • Handling sales-related tasks, which include customer service, managing sales operations, training sales personnel, and maintaining relationships with clients and community stakeholders.
  • Participating in store operations to gain comprehensive knowledge of the PLN experience, including conducting PLN's signature Lean Consultation, engaging with prospects and members, and managing the retail environment.
  • Completing additional projects, responsibilities, and tasks as directed by the Store Manager and Assistant Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements:
We are looking for exceptional individuals who:

  • Are passionate about fitness, community engagement, and transforming lives through health and wellness.
  • Have demonstrated experience in sales, customer service, or a related domain.
  • Excel in both independent and collaborative work environments.
  • Possess an outgoing demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a high degree of professionalism.
  • Are flexible with their schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country where the store operates.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must provide proof of the Right to Work and comply with local legislative requirements (EMEA only).
  • Must have reliable transportation to the assigned store.

Additional Willingness Requirements:

  • Willing to work in an environment with bright lighting and loud music.
  • Willing to move throughout the store for the majority of a shift to assist guests and complete tasks.
  • Willing to lift boxes weighing up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg).
  • Willing to work in a walk-in freezer.
