The ideal candidate will collaborate extensively with various teams within Boeing, including Airplane Programs, Engineering Functions, Supply Chain, and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS). This role is crucial in supporting Boeing's commitment to sustainability and compliance with environmental regulations.


Key Responsibilities:
Conduct risk assessments and develop comprehensive project plans; Lead and integrate project teams to formulate strategies and implement activities.

Engage with cross-functional teams to establish plans, assign responsibilities, and oversee execution to meet engineering, quality, and scheduling objectives.

Provide technical and business leadership in the formulation and execution of project plans.
Communicate project status and plans to Boeing leadership.
Coordinate evaluations of existing materials for potential replacements or to qualify new sources.
Analyze and resolve issues related to chemicals and materials necessary for ongoing production.
Identify and implement process improvements for risk mitigation.
Utilize Program Management Best Practices and Boeing's project management systems.

Organize and lead projects with diverse, cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and address material obsolescence.

Experience with Boeing Specifications, Bill-Of-Material (BOM), change processes, and Safety Data Sheets is essential, while expertise in BOM data mining is advantageous.


Additional Responsibilities:
Provide support and guidance for enterprise chemical policies, external engagements, and supply chain strategies.
Assist in regulatory and industry meetings, consortia, and workgroups focused on environmental regulations.
Support chemical regulation advocacy by responding to technical data collection needs.

Conduct research and prepare presentations, white papers, and coordination documents to facilitate understanding and planning for environmental, sustainability, and chemical regulation compliance.

Support research and advocacy efforts related to US EPA and EU REACH environmental regulations.
Conduct research and analysis to address environmental inquiries from customer airlines.
Provide analytical support to Legal Counsel.
Assist in data mining activities related to the Bill-Of-Material and other data sources.

Proficiency in leading projects with diverse team members towards a unified goal.
Strong presentation skills, with the ability to create and deliver compelling presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and results-driven. Capable of working under pressure and managing ambiguity and complexity.
Willingness to learn, improve, and share knowledge.
Ability to adapt to new computing systems and processes.

Required Qualifications:
Experience with Boeing is essential; familiarity with chemical risk management and Safety Data Sheets is required.
