Position Title: Lead Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Overview:

Boeing is seeking a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team, focusing on the Electrical Systems Responsibility Center. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout our engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the integration of contractual obligations and Boeing's Quality Management System into all proposals and program documentation.
  • Interpret complex quality requirements and provide guidance to teams.
  • Establish quality metrics and develop certification plans for major projects to ensure adherence to company and regulatory standards.
  • Formulate quality criteria to assist in supplier selection processes.
  • Lead reviews to guarantee that quality considerations are embedded in product designs.
  • Design and select methodologies for analysis, testing, and audits to confirm readiness for manufacturing and testing.
  • Contribute to the creation of new standards for addressing non-conformances.
  • Examine non-conformance trends to assess the effectiveness of corrective measures.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans as necessary.
  • Conduct benchmarking and advanced analyses to verify that specified process capabilities are met.
  • Operate with minimal supervision.

Work Environment:

This position requires full-time onsite presence. Candidates must comply with export control regulations, necessitating a defined status as a "U.S. Person" as per legal guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in problem-solving methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience interacting with senior leadership.
  • Familiarity with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
  • Knowledge of Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA).

Additional Information:

This role is not eligible for relocation assistance. Candidates should reside in the immediate area or be prepared to relocate at their own expense.
