Customer Service and Events Coordinator

This is an unpaid internship with AEG, offering the opportunity to gain experience in events and customer service. To participate, you must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and able to receive course credit for your participation. The internship will involve a mix of remote and in-person work, with a flexible schedule of 10-20 hours per week, including occasional weekend events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Events Department with various on-site projects
  • Assist with inquiries regarding USAWP programs, services, and online support
  • Assist with on-site event set up and tear-down for events
  • Help with in-office preparation for events
  • Administrative duties (filing, organizing, copying, data entry, etc.)
Requirements:
  • Ability to help with event-related tasks; occasionally physical or laborious
  • Team player who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize to effectively meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong organization/multi-tasking skills and detail-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Google Drive, Adobe)
  • Ability to be a self-starter, proactive, and flexible
  • Own transportation and living arrangements for the location hired
  • Water Polo Knowledge is preferred but not required
  • Experience in customer service is a plus
