We are currently seeking a committed Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing safety measures and environmental practices that not only comply with industry standards but also promote a culture of safety and sustainability.

Your Contributions:

  • Design and implement EHS initiatives that align with our objective of achieving exemplary EHS performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and internal safety protocols.
  • Lead projects focused on hazard communication, emergency preparedness, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement by conducting detailed investigations and analyses to mitigate future risks.
  • Prepare and present compliance reports to various stakeholders, including regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Capability to support a manufacturing operation that runs across three shifts, 24/7.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with EHS management systems, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Previous involvement in OSHA's Voluntary Protection Program (VPP).

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 with an additional $10,000 bonus

Work Environment:

  • A combination of office and manufacturing environments, with potential exposure to hazardous materials and heavy machinery.
