Job Summary

The Annual Giving Network LLC is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our annual and leadership giving program. As the Senior Director of Philanthropic Development and Engagement, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to secure philanthropic support from alumni and friends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute a Comprehensive Strategy: Create and implement a strategic plan to grow annual and leadership giving, with a focus on securing and enhancing gifts under $25,000.
  • Set and Achieve Goals: Establish and meet targets for donor acquisition, renewal, and pipeline growth, leveraging data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
  • Oversee Targeted Mass Cultivation and Solicitation: Implement targeted strategies to increase donor participation and philanthropic impact.
  • Lead a Team of Professionals: Manage and coach a team of professionals, providing guidance and support to drive performance and achieve programmatic goals.
  • Cultivate Partnerships: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and collaboration in engagement and outreach efforts.
  • Drive Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, empowering team members to excel in their roles.
  • Monitor and Evaluate Performance: Analyze data and reports to inform strategies, enhance data integrity, and maximize use of the constituent relationship management database.
  • Manage Vendor Relationships: Oversee the evaluation, securing, and management of vendor relationships and project management plans for annual giving efforts.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure accuracy of records through entering contact reports and providing updates to the donor database.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent: Required.
  • Eight Plus Years of Experience: In annual fundraising, with experience in traditional and new channels of annual revenue generation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Required.
  • Strong Database and Analytical Skills: Ability to understand and analyze data to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Ability to Handle Sensitive Information: Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team-based organization.
