Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Lifescape Project Supervisor is a collaborative leader who effectively guides a team while embracing opportunities for growth and development. This role is pivotal in overseeing crew operations, ensuring safety standards, maintaining quality control, and fulfilling various responsibilities.

Compensation: $55,080-$70,000

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Quality Landscape Implementation

  • Precisely execute projects in accordance with design specifications and budget constraints.
  • Thoroughly review and interpret blueprints, grading plans, irrigation layouts, planting schemes, construction documents, proposals, and financial plans.
  • Establish accurate grades and levels utilizing advanced tools.
  • Engage with Project Managers and designers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and provide timely updates to clients.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
  • Delegate tasks effectively among team members.
  • Undertake special projects and additional responsibilities as required.

Equipment & Operations Management

  • Complete daily logs and checklists for equipment usage.
  • Educate and guide the crew on the proper operation of machinery, including weight and volume limits.
  • Adhere to maintenance protocols for all equipment.
  • Inspect fluid levels prior to equipment operation.
  • Oversee and manage regular maintenance and cleaning of equipment.

Safety Protocols

  • Lead weekly safety training sessions for the crew.
  • Ensure that safety measures are upheld on job sites and anticipate potential hazards.
  • Report any incidents or injuries to the appropriate personnel and complete necessary documentation as per company policy.

Effective Communication

  • Report any unsafe or suspicious activities to management.
  • Communicate any planned absences with management to maintain workflow.
  • Proactively address any concerns or issues with management for resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases and submit receipts as required.

Training and Development

  • Provide constructive feedback on crew performance.
  • Ensure team members participate in scheduled training sessions.
  • Assist in onboarding new and existing team members regarding responsibilities and quality standards.
  • Lead the crew in the execution of daily tasks.

Time Management

  • Report on project progress regularly.
  • Maintain accurate timekeeping records.
  • Address any timecard discrepancies with management.
  • Manage projects to adhere to budgeted hours.
  • Participate in regular supervisory meetings.

Seasonal Responsibilities

  • Be available for on-call duties during snow season.
  • Operate snow removal equipment effectively.
  • Carry out snow clearing and ice management tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in landscape supervision or crew leadership.
  • Valid driver's license with company insurance approval.
  • Proficient in operating various landscaping tools and machinery.
  • Strong knowledge of planting, irrigation, hardscaping, grading, and reading blueprints.
