We are expanding our landscape design studio in Denver and are looking for a skilled, mid-to-senior level Landscape Architect or Designer to enhance our diverse team of professionals. Our company supports a hybrid work model, combining remote and in-office work, while promoting in-person collaboration for team-building and client interactions. Proof of up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination is necessary for in-person engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborative Team Member: Engage with a multidisciplinary team across various offices to develop designs for community spaces, parks, streets, and facilities for both public and private sector clients throughout the U.S.
- Project Contributions: Assist a team of landscape architects, planners, and project managers on various landscape architecture initiatives. Your tasks may include site analysis, design, problem-solving, construction detailing, and creating planting plans, among others. This role will involve producing conceptual and technical exhibits, graphics, and comprehensive construction document sets.
- Project Types: You will typically engage in streetscape design, park planning, site and landscape design for various buildings, campus master plans, children's play areas, and community engagement initiatives.
- Travel Requirements: Occasional travel, evening, or weekend work may be necessary for community engagement, site assessments, or to meet project deadlines. We encourage a work-life balance, allowing for flexibility in scheduling.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture from an accredited institution.
- Relevant experience in consulting and collaboration with landscape architects, producing drawings and deliverables independently.
- Strong background in construction documentation and administration.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, demonstrating proactive communication and initiative.
- Proficiency in producing high-quality work products, including complete construction document sets and illustrative design sketches.
- Effective communication skills for group presentations and discussions.
- Adaptability and willingness to assist team members as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for the technical aspects of landscape architecture.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required. Experience with GIS, SketchUp, or Lumion is advantageous.
