Role Overview:
Guidehouse is looking for a Senior Financial Strategy Consultant to contribute to our project initiatives in the Bethesda region.

In this capacity, you will play a pivotal role in assisting management with their financial strategy across a wide range of stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to, the following:
Assisting management in the preparation of materials for presentations to senior leadership and external stakeholders.

Conducting analyses of organizational financial statements to identify recurring audit challenges and trends. Supporting front office leadership in various strategic and tactical budgetary tasks and internal and external data requests.

Identifying, designing, and implementing processes that enhance the budgeting function and foster sustainable improvements in operations, oversight, and transparency among diverse stakeholders.


Qualifications:
An ACTIVE and CURRENT TOP SECRET/SCI federal security clearance with a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph.
Bachelor's Degree.
At least TWO (2) years of experience supporting federal clients.

Preferred Skills:
Adaptability, agility, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment as well as independently.

Self-driven with strong organizational skills and attention to detail; capable of coordinating and prioritizing multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships and communicate effectively across all levels of staff and leadership, as well as with various internal and external stakeholder groups.

Experience with the federal budget development cycle.
Prior knowledge and experience in assisting clients with oversight briefings.
Experience in process enhancement specifically related to federal finance and budgeting.
Experience in both budget planning and execution.
Ability to integrate feedback from various leadership and technical teams; experience promoting collaborative communication and project development.
Experience in creating project plans, status reports, and other materials for executive leadership that facilitate efficient decision-making.
