We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Part Time Teller to join our team at Adirondack Trust Company. As a Part Time Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a secure and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Process personal and business checking and savings deposits, verify cash and endorsements, and issue receipts of deposit.
- Cash checks according to regulation protocol and accept loan and/or tax payments.
- Process Money Orders and Treasurer's Checks, and balance and update savings passbooks.
- Answer customer questions, resolve problems, and refer customers to the proper department as needed.
- Ensure customer satisfaction while adhering to company and regulatory policies.
A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required, along with cash handling and customer service experience. Strong interpersonal relationship skills and effective listening and communication abilities are highly recommended.
Work EnvironmentAs a Part Time Teller, you will work in a fast-paced banking environment, interacting with customers and colleagues in a pleasant and professional manner. You must be able to hear well enough to communicate effectively and perform normal daily physical activities, including walking, standing, and lifting up to 20-30 pounds.
