Job Overview
Ryder System is seeking a seasoned National Accounts Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and identifying customer needs by developing strategic goals and objectives.

About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a sales professional with a proven track record of success in account management. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximize account penetration. This includes evaluating current and potential sales opportunities with existing customers, implementing customer review and margin improvement processes to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize Ryder's EVA, and developing relationships with senior management and all buying influences in the customer's organization.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximize account penetration
- Evaluate current and potential sales opportunities with existing customers
- Implement customer review and margin improvement processes to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize Ryder's EVA
- Develop relationships with senior management and all buying influences in the customer's organization
- Identify and appropriately utilize headquarters and third-party sales resources

What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the transportation industry, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability. Additionally, you will need to have a proven track record of sales success, with a minimum of 5 years of consecutive sales excellence in prior sales responsibilities.

What We Offer
Ryder System offers a comprehensive compensation package that includes a salary of $85,000, with the potential for annual bonuses, commissions, and long-term incentive plans based on individual performance. We also offer paid time off for vacation, illness, bereavement, family and parental leave, and other benefits.
