About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Host/Support Associate to join our team at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants. As a Host/Support Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless experience from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide warm and welcoming greetings to all guests, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage reservations and seating, ensuring fair and consistent allocation of tables.
  • Accurately handle paperwork, stock, and maintain the host stand to ensure a clean and organized environment.
  • Receive and coordinate incoming calls, accurately booking reservations for guests.
  • Take room service orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitor the floor and tables for accuracy and cleanliness, assisting in bussing tables as needed.
  • Support servers by refilling beverages and performing other restaurant and customer service-related tasks.
  • Be flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed, as we all wear multiple hats here at Kimpton.

Requirements

  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
  • Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Able to learn, retain, and present product, menu, and allergy information to guests.
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn the restaurant point-of-sale system and reservation system.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, a real passion for hospitality, and a love for crafting unique and memorable experiences for guests.
  • Food Handler Certification (if applicable).
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays when needed.
