Job Overview:

We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Specialist to join our team at Mindlance. This role is pivotal in supporting our supply chain initiatives and enhancing our pilot plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in the design, engineering, and risk evaluations for a new manufacturing facility, including methodologies such as FEED, HAZOP, and FMEA.
  • Collaborate effectively with Supply Chain Engineering, Planning, Quality, and R&D teams to ensure project timelines and milestones are met.
  • Conduct design and robustness studies within the pilot plant, focusing on optimizing manufacturing efficiency and quality.
  • Leverage existing digital platforms to gather technical data for statistical analysis and data visualization.
  • Analyze raw materials, processing conditions, and product characteristics, including flow behavior and critical control points.
  • Document best practices for the storage, handling, and processing of new raw materials and delivery formats.
  • Translate product requirements into detailed technical documentation, including equipment layouts and standard operating procedures (SoPs).
  • Validate interactions between processes, equipment, and products during various stages of production.
  • Assist in selecting equipment designs and suppliers to achieve desired performance and reliability standards.
  • Support the commissioning of new manufacturing equipment, including installation and performance qualification.
  • Lead the execution of main plant trials, developing scale-up learning plans, coordinating on-site trials, and analyzing data.
  • Identify and document process safety and hygiene risks, implementing control measures that meet safety standards.
  • Create and issue process and equipment design documents as part of the technology transfer process into the supply chain.

Work Environment:
This position is hybrid, requiring onsite presence multiple times a week. The role is a full-time commitment, with an expected workload of 40 hours per week.
