Flight and Component Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Flight and Component Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that aircraft and components meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft and components to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Perform receiving inspections of all materials and components prior to installation on aircraft.
- Release aircraft for flight operations after ensuring that all necessary inspections and tests have been completed.
- Inspect adjustments, repairs, and modifications made to aircraft and components.
- Perform internal audits to monitor and verify quality in accordance with approved company processes and procedures.
- Provide quality inspection support at the component level to our Sikorsky Commercial FAA Repair Station.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant License with years of experience on Sikorsky rotary wing aircraft or other large multi-engine helicopters.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Quality Inspector.
- Familiarity with FAA regulations 14 CFR parts 21, 43, 65, & 145.
- Experience with Sikorsky Models S61, SH-3H, S76, S92, UH-60A/L/M, S70i, S70M.
- Strong working knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- FAA 145 Repair Station Experience.
- Component Overhaul & Repair experience.
- Strong Computer Skills.
- Certified Sikorsky Flight Safety Parts Inspector.
This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
