Key Responsibilities
  • Execute regular inspections on materials, in-process goods, and final products.
  • Conduct audits throughout various manufacturing phases, including visual and functional evaluations.
  • Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams.
  • Document inspection findings and report any identified defects.
  • Provide recommendations for product disposition and process improvements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Communicate job requirements effectively for training purposes.
  • Generate reports for non-conforming materials.
  • Support quality-related initiatives and problem-solving efforts.
  • Serve as a resource for quality concerns and inspection methodologies.
Required Qualifications
  • Ability to comprehend written instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Skill in operating gauges and testing apparatus.
  • Familiarity with inspection tools and equipment.
  • Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Device History Records, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications.
  • ASQ Certification or relevant experience is advantageous.
  • 2-4+ years of experience in quality inspection is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of blueprint interpretation and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
