Key Responsibilities
- Execute regular inspections on materials, in-process goods, and final products.
- Conduct audits throughout various manufacturing phases, including visual and functional evaluations.
- Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams.
- Document inspection findings and report any identified defects.
- Provide recommendations for product disposition and process improvements.
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to safety protocols.
- Communicate job requirements effectively for training purposes.
- Generate reports for non-conforming materials.
- Support quality-related initiatives and problem-solving efforts.
- Serve as a resource for quality concerns and inspection methodologies.
- Ability to comprehend written instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
- Skill in operating gauges and testing apparatus.
- Familiarity with inspection tools and equipment.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Device History Records, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications.
- ASQ Certification or relevant experience is advantageous.
- 2-4+ years of experience in quality inspection is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of blueprint interpretation and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
