About the Role

Bonsai Robotics is seeking a highly skilled and organized Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all HR administrative functions and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Develop and implement new HR policies and initiatives, in collaboration with the leadership team
  • Provide office management and operational efficiency, including procurement of office supplies and management of the lunch program
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding and ensure a seamless transition into the company
  • Manage and process invoices and audit payments to ensure accuracy
  • Coordinate with local, regional, and international government offices to ensure compliance
  • Provide general company procurement activities and coordinate deliveries at Bonsai's HQ, field office, and other locations
  • Schedule and manage visitors to Bonsai's HQ office
  • Assist the leadership and broader Bonsai team with other initiatives as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field
  • About 1 year of prior related experience
  • Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to operate under deadlines and ambiguity in an environment with changing priorities
  • Ability to interface professionally with C-Suite executives, customers, partners, etc.
  • Willingness and interest to operate in various areas of the business and grow skillset
  • Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and care
  • Availability to be at the company's San Jose HQ as needed and occasional travel to the company's field office in Davis, CA
Bonus Points
  • Master's Degree, SHRM certification, or related further education or certifications
  • Experience operating in the same or similar space (agriculture)
  • Experience operating in a startup environment
  • Experience working with C-level executives
  • Experience with scheduling meetings of multiple people with busy calendars
  • Experience with programs such as Slack, Confluence, and the Google Workspace ecosystem
  • Experience with Rippling specifically is a huge plus, but any HRIS experience will be helpful in this role

Pay Range

The pay range for this role is $70,000 USD per year (San Jose, CA)
