Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator plays a vital role in delivering day-to-day HR support to frontline employees and managers across multiple locations. This position involves close collaboration with managers to develop, edit, and manage schedules for frontline employees, ensuring smooth operations and optimal staffing. The HR Coordinator is integral to fostering a positive work environment and supporting the overall HR functions.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule events
- Work with managers to create, edit, and maintain schedules for frontline employees
- Support leads, supervisors, managers, NPOs, and staffing agencies in event operations
- Maintain employee records and schedules in the time-keeping system (ABI)
- Provide daily HR support to frontline employees and managers across multiple sites
- Assist and perform administrative duties such as data entry, record review, data maintenance, filing, distributing mail, orders, stocking supplies, answering phones, and greeting visitors
- Review candidate applications, screen applicants, and schedule interviews
- Facilitate new hire orientations and job fairs
- Ensure HR matters are handled confidentially and promptly
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Interpret policies and provide guidance to ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements
- Provide support to other departments (Accounting AP/AR, Payroll, Human Resources)
- Maintain office memos and informative postings
- Operate technology, systems, and software such as voicemail systems, copiers/scanners, personal computers, and MS Office
Requirements:
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required
- Must be able to obtain food safety certification and RBS
- Prior administrative experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Requires frequent repetitive motions with hands and/or arms
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service, responding promptly to inquiries, and addressing concerns professionally
- Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 25 lbs

- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work well in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently while contributing positively towards team goals
