Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule, coordinate, and adjust patient appointments according to established protocols.
  • Confirm and update appointment details with patients, ensuring clarity on necessary items to bring.
  • Provide information on appointment expectations, including cancellation policies.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding directions, appointment times, and program details.
  • Facilitate the new patient registration process and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Manage communications via email and voicemail efficiently.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and clinic staff to optimize scheduling.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
  • Meet performance metrics related to call handling and appointment management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; advanced education is a plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English, with the ability to interpret medical documents.
  • Experience in a high-volume medical call center or front desk environment.
  • Strong customer service skills and familiarity with electronic medical records.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
