Position Summary

The role involves supporting the operations of Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte. The individual will be responsible for managing incoming calls and assisting visitors while providing essential administrative support to various departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Incoming Communications
    • Handle all incoming phone calls, transferring them as necessary and ensuring messages are relayed to the appropriate personnel.
    • Welcome and assist all visitors to the facility.
  • Provide Administrative Assistance
    • Offer light administrative support to leadership and other departments as needed.
  • Maintain Communication Systems
    • Oversee the phone pool calendar and coordinate quarterly support meetings.
    • Train new staff on phone backup procedures.
  • Additional Duties
    • Perform related tasks as assigned, ensuring the professional reputation of Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte is upheld.
    • Engage in professional development and incorporate new practices into daily responsibilities.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an office setting, preferably within a healthcare environment. Familiarity with hospice care principles is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with strong typing skills.
  • Availability on Monday, Thursday, and Friday.
