Role Summary
The Patient Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the dental office operates smoothly. Responsibilities include managing appointment schedules, entering patient information for billing, and maintaining effective communication with patients in a compassionate manner.
Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients with professionalism and warmth.
  • Check-in patients, ensuring all necessary information is captured in the management system.
  • Collect co-payments and manage patient check-out processes.
  • Balance registers and close out daily transactions.
  • Efficiently manage multiple tasks and prioritize under pressure.
  • Schedule appointments and confirm them through proactive communication.
  • Address issues and escalate them to the Office Manager as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient computer skills; familiarity with Eaglesoft or Denticon is advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Preferred Experience
Previous experience in a dental front desk role is preferred but not mandatory.
