Founded in 1991, we have expanded our outreach to over 30 countries, providing support to families and sharing the message of hope through our partnerships with local churches.
ROLE SUMMARY:
The SENIOR EXECUTIVE COORDINATOR plays a pivotal role in providing comprehensive support to the Executive, ensuring the effective execution of responsibilities and objectives. This position serves as the primary liaison for both internal and external stakeholders, facilitating communication and relationship-building with donors and partners.
In this dynamic role, the Coordinator will embody professionalism and integrity, thriving in a mission-driven environment that prioritizes results and community engagement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage a diverse range of administrative tasks for the Executive, including overseeing a comprehensive calendar of appointments, preparing expense reports, drafting correspondence, and coordinating complex travel arrangements.
- Ensure the Executive's schedule is respected and efficiently managed, acting as a gatekeeper to optimize access to the Executive's time.
- Communicate on behalf of the Executive with donors and staff, addressing sensitive issues with discretion and determining appropriate responses.
- Support the cultivation of relationships initiated by the Executive, ensuring smooth communication across departments.
- Assist in managing the Executive's meeting schedules, preparing agendas, and attending meetings as needed to provide support.
- Keep the Executive informed of upcoming commitments and relevant issues, acting as a proactive resource.
- Foster strong internal and external relationships to enhance organizational success, facilitating effective teamwork.
- Oversee special projects as assigned by the Executive, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning and execution of organizational events.
- Encourage effective communication and collaboration across departments, contributing to a positive organizational culture.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active participation in a gospel-centered Christian community, demonstrating spiritual growth.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in administrative support, preferably in a non-profit context.
- Proven experience in executive-level administrative support, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
- High level of discretion in handling confidential information.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position primarily operates in an office setting, with occasional requirements to engage in community events and other organizational activities.
