Business Development Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to join our North American team, responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in the localization industry, with a proven track record of driving sales processes from plan to close and positioning products against competitors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
- Partnering with prospects and customers to understand their business needs and objectives
- Effectively communicating the value proposition through proposals and presentations
- Understanding category-specific landscapes and trends
- Reporting and acting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts and prospective accounts
Requirements include:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
- 5-7 years of experience as a localization sales executive, sales manager, or sales and marketing director within the localization industry
- Ability to communicate, present, and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
Acolad offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, health savings, and flexible spending account options. We also offer a 401(k) plan with 50% match on 12% employee contribution.
Salary base range for this position is between $100K to $110K, dependent upon experience and physical location. This position is eligible for variable compensation in addition to the base salary.
