Director of Business Development

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as the Director of Business Development (Southeast). As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Research and identify potential sales targets within your assigned territory.
- Network and establish strong connections with key accounts.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand customer needs and overcome potential barriers.
- Collaborate with management to formulate short and long-term sales action plans.
- Maintain necessary sales reports and logs, keeping management informed and engaged.
- Attend educational meetings, seminars, and networking events to stay abreast of industry trends.
- Embrace occasional evening and weekend travel for events, demonstrating commitment to our goals.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or four to ten years of related experience and/or training.
- 3+ years of outside B2B or medical sales experience with a proven track record of success.
- Proficient use of Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Previous PBM insurance sales experience.
- PBM industry knowledge and/or established relationships within the field.
