Office Receptionist Job Description

This is a full-time, in-office position that requires a professional and enthusiastic individual to serve as the face and first point of contact for our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting visitors, clients, and fellow employees, providing directions and information as needed, and ensuring the business calendar is accurate and up-to-date.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting visitors and clients, and providing them with necessary directions or information
  • Scheduling appointments and managing the business calendar
  • Responding to incoming phone calls and emails, and ensuring the right people receive important information
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail, and handling deliveries
  • Completing other administrative duties as needed, such as data entry, paperwork, and photocopying

The ideal candidate will possess impeccable interpersonal, time management, organizational, and customer service skills, with a minimum of one year of experience in a similar role. They will also have experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations, and be proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.

Compensation for this position is $18-$20 hourly.
