Position Summary

The Audiology Program Manager embodies the core values and ethical standards of Northwestern Medicine, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.

This role involves overseeing the planning and execution of initiatives within Northwestern Memorial HealthCare. Responsibilities include formulating work plans, establishing performance metrics, and coordinating resources to ensure timely and budget-conscious project completion. Collaboration with various stakeholders, including managers and clinicians, is essential to align departmental objectives with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project components such as budgets, resource allocation, and performance reporting.
  • Implement standard project management practices throughout the project lifecycle, including analysis, design, and evaluation.
  • Utilize project management tools for accurate planning and budgeting.
  • Engage in analytical tasks, including requirements gathering and solution development.
  • Oversee daily project operations, minimizing risks and ensuring scope adherence.
  • Prepare and review project deliverables for leadership approval, maintaining up-to-date documentation.
  • Establish effective communication channels to facilitate ongoing project updates among team members and stakeholders.
  • Ensure project expenditures align with the financial planning of Northwestern Medicine.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to successfully define and implement projects.
  • Foster productive relationships with clients and team members, addressing any issues that arise and proposing solutions.
  • Create and adjust project work plans as necessary to accommodate evolving requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Clinical and Research Responsibilities
  • Maintain clinical skills and licensure to provide Audiology Services for a minimum of 20% of work time.
  • Act as a clinical resource, ensuring continuous improvement initiatives are upheld.
  • Lead training efforts for Audiologists within the health network regarding cochlear implants.
  • Collaborate with academic institutions for research opportunities related to cochlear implant programs.
  • Evaluate the clinical and financial implications of the program for the organization.
  • Develop marketing strategies to raise awareness among referral sources and potential patients.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Licensed Audiologist in Illinois.
  • Master's Degree or higher in Audiology from an accredited institution.
  • Five to eight years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all organizational levels.

Preferred:

  • MBA or MHA.
  • Experience in research.
