Position Overview:
Amergis Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Audiologist to provide specialized services to the Developmental and Mental Health population. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks aimed at enhancing communication and auditory capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement audiology and speech/language services tailored to individual needs.
2. Analyze departmental metrics and generate comprehensive reports for management regarding hearing, speech, and language services.
3. Assess service effectiveness and offer strategic recommendations to leadership based on findings.
4. Review and update departmental policies and procedures while monitoring quality assurance measures.
5. Deliver training sessions for facility staff to enhance service delivery.
6. Conduct audiometric assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
7. Perform follow-up audiological evaluations and speech language screenings.
8. Execute hearing aid evaluations and prepare clinical documentation of test outcomes.
9. Facilitate hearing aid orientation sessions for individuals requiring assistance.
10. Obtain ear mold impressions or custom ear molds as necessary.
11. Participate actively in facility committees.
12. Develop and conduct training programs for both the center and community organizations on topics such as communication strategies, hearing aid maintenance, and the use of Telecommunication Devices for the Deaf.

Qualifications:
- A master’s degree in audiology or speech-language pathology is required.
- A valid license to practice in the field is mandatory.
- A current PRL with SLP endorsement issued by the ISBE is necessary.
- A minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience is expected.
- Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated clinical experience in specialized settings, supported by certifications or advanced coursework.
