Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Engagement: Interact with patients to set appointment dates and times, provide confirmation and special instructions, and complete necessary documentation.
  • Referral Coordination: Schedule appointments, complete forms, and obtain demographic information to facilitate smooth referrals.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance, including filing, copying, and updating charts to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Quality Control: Maintain quality control standards, respond to emergencies, and follow all OSHA and departmental policies.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, staff, and outside specialty services to ensure timely and accurate referrals.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent strongly preferred.
  • Experience: At least one year of referral work experience desired.
