Key Responsibilities:- Monitor hospital portals for new referrals and confirm receipt of referrals in the portal.
- Coordinate the initial intake and clinical assessment of each referral, and work referrals to green, yellow, or red-light status.
- Communicate received referrals with corresponding hospital liaison for further follow-up.
- Send all received referrals for benefit verification.
- Document all received referrals in the Customer Relationship Management software.
- Utilize portals for documentation of status of each referral (accepted, denied, considering).
- Evaluate referrals to be assigned to the appropriate campuses based on payer source and bed availability.
- Support sales throughout the initial referral process.
- Associate Degree
- 3-5 years of experience
