Job Summary

The Patient Experience Coordinator is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for ensuring a positive experience for our patients. This role involves coordinating patient referrals, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Referral Coordination: Process incoming fax referrals and contact patients to schedule appointments.
  • Scheduling: Accurately schedule new patient appointments based on referral requests and established protocols.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records, including demographics and insurance information.
  • Communication: Utilize various 3rd party vendors to effectively communicate with patients and referring doctors.
  • Administrative Support: Assist the Operations Manager with related projects and assignments.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Medical office experience preferred.
  • Skills: Effective communication skills, ability to work independently, and strong attention to detail.
  • Software: Experience with EMR systems required.
Work Environment

This role operates primarily in an office environment, with occasional travel for conferences and meetings. The noise level is moderate, and lighting is standard. The employee is subject to infectious waste and potential exposure to allergens.
