Job Summary

Black Hawk College is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Computer Science faculty member to join our team. As a tenure-track instructor, you will be responsible for teaching Computer Science courses at our Quad-Cities Campus in Moline, IL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality Computer Science courses to students
  • Encourage student learning through effective teaching methods and assessments
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments in Computer Science
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives to promote academic excellence
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Two years of recent programming experience in business using current programming languages
  • Ability to program in computer programming languages currently being taught at the college
  • Knowledge of software applications, web development, and database management
  • Experience in teaching Computer Science is preferred
