We are currently in search of a full-time Facilities Maintenance Lead to manage and oversee maintenance operations across our various facilities.

Position Summary
The Facilities Maintenance Lead (FML) will report directly to the Maintenance Manager (MM) and will be tasked with ensuring the upkeep of all plumbing systems and general maintenance across our properties. The FML will supervise a team of maintenance personnel, ensuring that all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of maintenance staff in the upkeep of company facilities.
  • Address all plumbing-related issues across multiple properties.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs in compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
  • Perform repairs on building fixtures and plumbing systems, including electrical fixtures.
  • Estimate material and tool requirements for maintenance tasks.
  • Assist in the setup and dismantling of structures as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to prioritize daily tasks and manage resources effectively.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of tools and equipment.
  • Participate in safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Engage in community outreach and support activities as required.
  • Uphold the values and mission of Miami Rescue Mission Inc.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED with plumbing maintenance training; Journeyman Plumber license preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of plumbing experience and three years in a supervisory role.
  • Valid Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Proficient in using various hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
  • Computer literate with experience in MS Office Suite.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 75 lbs.
  • Capability to work in various environments, including confined spaces.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with team members and the public.
