Job Overview

Position Summary: The Facilities Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and aesthetic upkeep of both the interior and exterior areas of the property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall maintenance operations and ensure the property meets high standards of appearance.
  • Assist in obtaining bids and proposals, providing recommendations to the Community Association Manager regarding the physical aspects of the building.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures during maintenance activities.
  • Respond to emergencies as required and maintain availability for on-call situations.
  • Supervise staff to ensure they are adequately trained, equipped, and fulfilling their daily responsibilities.
  • Document all maintenance procedures and processes for future reference.
  • Provide oversight and solutions for issues related to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and aesthetic maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong skills in maintenance and repair, particularly in HVAC, painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
  • Experience in building trades and general maintenance; experience in condominium settings is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Possession of a CAM License is a plus.

Work Schedule:

  • Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • On-call availability is required.
  • This is a full-time position.
