Compensation and Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls and public safety needs, providing assistance to victims and the community.
  • Conduct patrols within city limits, identifying safety hazards, preventing crime, and performing security checks.
  • Issue warnings and enforce laws in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Investigate traffic incidents and violations, gathering evidence and preparing detailed reports.
  • Engage with the community as a positive role model, fostering cooperation and respect for law enforcement initiatives.
  • Enforce laws impartially, adhering to legal standards without bias.
  • Assist other public safety agencies as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; ability to type at a minimum speed of 35 words per minute.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of hire.
  • Ability to establish rapport with fellow officers and maintain effective communication.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making capabilities.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to remain composed in high-stress situations.
  • Commitment to ongoing training and professional development.
