Account Executive, Business Development Leader

Job Summary:

Gartner is seeking a highly skilled Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth and expand client relationships
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and other key decision-makers
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation
  • Manage and maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional client experiences

Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of external experience in consultative sales with a proven track record of success
  • Proficiency in account planning and territory management
  • Ability to prospect and run C-level and senior-level relationships within midsize and large organizations
  • Demonstrated intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships through offering beneficial, insightful, and strategic insights into their businesses
  • Strong proficiency in computer skills
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process, from prospecting to close
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
