Job Overview

Position: Sales/Application Engineer – Motion Control

Objective of the Role:

ü Ensure the quality of Chieftek Precision Co., Ltd. (cpc) products and services aligns with customer expectations while enhancing sales and market presence in the Americas.

ü Identify and cultivate new business prospects, encouraging clients to specify cpc products for their needs.

ü Collaborate with cpc USA operations to enhance safety, efficiency, and quality standards as required.

Key Responsibilities:

ü Support distribution networks and develop relationships with OEMs and system integrators. Engage with clients to recommend cpc products tailored to their applications.

ü Provide updates on specifications and technical details to clients.

ü Organize and participate in trade exhibitions, actively pursuing potential sales leads.

ü Work in close partnership with the cpc Quality Control system to guarantee product quality meets customer standards, which may involve significant travel.

Required Skills and Experience:

Education:
Technical degree (Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred) or substantial engineering experience in the application and/or design of automation components, particularly in motion control hardware and software.

Experience:
Sales Engineer I:
ü Approximately 3 years of relevant technical sales or application engineering experience.

Sales Engineer II:
ü 3-10 years of relevant technical sales or application engineering experience.
ü Demonstrated track record of sales improvement.
ü Potential for advancement to national technical sales manager or country manager roles.

Additional Skills/Knowledge:
Industry expertise in robot motion control programming and auxiliary tools for robotic applications (e.g., vision systems, force/torque sensors).
Job skills include networking, sales acumen, business management, and problem-solving capabilities.
