Logistics Optimization Engineer Position Overview:
VF Corporation is on the lookout for a skilled Engineer to join our innovative logistics facility.

The primary duties of the Logistics Optimization Engineer encompass executing a variety of engineering functions autonomously, assessing and integrating material handling technologies, and developing standardized procedures.

You will work closely with the team and operational leadership to address unique challenges.

Key Contributions:

In this role, you will partner with the local logistics team and data specialists to guarantee the successful rollout of the labor management strategy.

Leading the labor management initiative and ensuring accurate delivery of all objectives are vital for success in this position.

Implementing creative strategies to enhance equipment performance and evaluating new technologies and systems.

Assisting operations management in preparing for high-demand periods.
Providing oversight and resolving technical challenges.
Designing and overseeing cost management systems, including working with management on cost-saving initiatives.

Establishing and administering an incentive compensation program and work measurement using established analytical methods to ensure equitable earning opportunities for all team members.

Executing these and other responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications for Success:

Educational/Professional Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering3+ years of engineering experienceStrong analytical and mathematical capabilitiesFamiliarity with logistics systems (Warehouse Management Systems, Labor Management Systems, and Warehouse Execution Systems)

Proficiency in systematic work and systems thinkingComputer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email communicationsExceptional verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to articulate clearly and concisely in EnglishBasic AutoCADSpecial Physical and/or Mental Requirements:
Minimal travel required (less than 10%)#LI-DC1

Compensation Range:
$105,600.00 USD - $132,000.00 USD annually

Incentive Opportunities:

This position may be eligible for additional compensation awards such as an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission structure. Specific details regarding additional compensation eligibility will be provided during the recruitment and interview process.
