Job Title: Clinical Educator and Trainer

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Educator and Trainer to join our team at Northern Light Mercy Hospital.

About the Role:
  • This is a full-time position with a 36-hour workweek, working from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing educational programs for clinical personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with clinical leaders and the Professional Development Council to conduct annual educational needs assessments.
  2. Plan, implement, and evaluate continuing education programs in collaboration with managers, directors, and other disciplines.
  3. Assist in the placement of nursing and medical assistant students from various universities, colleges, and training programs.
  4. Evaluate overall educational program effectiveness and provide input into departmental budgeting.
  5. Maintain a safe environment and comply with NLH policies and procedures.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
