Northern Light Health Nurse Educator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team at Northern Light Mercy Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing educational programs for clinical personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with clinical leaders and the Professional Development Council to conduct annual educational needs assessments for clinical employees.
  • Collaborate with managers, directors, the VP/CNO of Patient Care Services, Academic agencies, and other disciplines to plan, implement, and evaluate continuing education programs.
  • Assist in the placement of nursing and medical assistant students from various universities, colleges, and training programs and facilitate the orientation of nursing and medical assistant students and new clinical preceptors.
  • Evaluate overall educational program effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required; BLS certification also required.
  • Prior experience in a clinical setting and a strong understanding of adult learning principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
About the Position:

This is a full-time position located at the Mercy Medical Office Building, with regular hours of 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package are offered.

$83,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
