Salary: $42,640 - $50,960 per year

Job Description

As a Special Education Teacher at Spurwink Services, you'll be responsible for working closely with an educational and clinical team to develop and deliver educational programming for students with significant emotional, behavioral, academic, and mental health needs. This role requires excellent classroom management skills, as well as the ability to implement CARE principles, deliver assessment tools, create lesson plans, write IEPs, and coordinate with the clinical team.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

We're seeking candidates with a Bachelor's degree and Maine State certification as a Teacher of Exceptional Students (282) or Teacher of Students with Severe Intellectual and Associated Impairments (286), as appropriate to the position and age level of students.
