Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Lead to join our team at Northern Light Mercy Hospital. This is a full-time position located in the Operating Room department, with a schedule of 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and an estimated salary of $85,000 per year.

The successful candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. The Clinical Nurse Lead will work closely with the Manager and Medical Director to enhance clinical practice, quality of care, and staff education through coordination of unit-based education, development of quality initiatives, and participation in competencies and staff orientation.

Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care and exercise independent judgment in delegating patient care to other qualified staff.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of clinical practice in the practice and identify areas for improvement.
• Coach, mentor, and provide support to colleagues to advance their skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with clinical staff and other disciplines regarding the care of complex patients.
• Act as a role model and mentor for other nurses, student nurses, and members of the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements:
• A registered nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
• Proficient in using computers and other technology to complete tasks and maintain records.
