Job Title: Clinical Nurse Educator/RN

Overview: Northern Light Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team. As a key member of our education department, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing clinical education programs that support the growth and development of our nursing staff.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year.

About the Job: The Clinical Educator will be responsible for assisting the department leader with the development and execution of clinical education and orientation of clinical personnel. This includes creating educational curriculum to support our clinical programs, working collaboratively with clinical leaders to conduct annual educational needs assessments, and implementing clinical education using diverse teaching strategies. Additionally, you will assist in the placement of nursing students from various universities, colleges, and training programs, and collaborate with other education department members to coordinate and track the progress of nursing orientations and evaluate overall educational program effectiveness.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct annual educational needs assessments for clinical employees
  • Create and implement clinical education using diverse teaching strategies
  • Assist in the placement of nursing students from various universities, colleges, and training programs
  • Collaborate with other education department members to coordinate and track the progress of nursing orientations
  • Evaluate overall educational program effectiveness

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
  • 3 years of clinical experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
