Job Overview

The Senior Program Manager at Vitesse Systems LLC plays a crucial role in overseeing program initiatives, ensuring effective execution, and facilitating customer engagement. This position requires adept management of significant individual programs or multiple smaller projects, demanding substantial allocation of company resources while adhering to budgetary and scheduling constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison for clients, maintaining ongoing communication regarding project timelines and addressing any concerns that arise.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide necessary documentation and guidance on potential impacts related to delivery timelines.
  • Oversee pricing, costs, inventory management, quality assurance, and delivery processes for the designated customer portfolio.
  • Utilize program management tools to track, monitor, and report on program performance metrics.
  • Prepare and deliver program presentations for both internal stakeholders and external clients, along with summary reports for leadership review.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure program execution aligns with quality standards, timelines, and budgetary commitments.
  • Accurately forecast customer demand to support long-term business planning.
  • Leverage ERP systems for transaction management and analytical purposes.
  • Implement program plans and objectives to guarantee commitments are fulfilled by monitoring and addressing variances in quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Keep relevant parties informed about project status to foster transparency and collaboration.
  • Assist in developing schedules and coordinating cross-departmental project plans using project management tools.
  • Communicate effectively, ensuring clarity and understanding while encouraging feedback from the audience.
  • Resolve conflicts among stakeholders that may affect program success.
  • Lead Integrated Product Teams throughout all phases of the program lifecycle.
  • Adhere to established quality policies and procedures while performing job functions.
  • Embody and promote the core values of the company.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications: To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proven management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD Inventor, Pro/Engineer, and other web-based applications.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work environments and competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with Contract Terms and Conditions, Quality Clauses, and Pricing Models.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond promptly to project adjustments.
  • Ability to foster cooperation among diverse groups, including upper management and clients.
  • Experience in handling large datasets and synthesizing information from multiple sources.
  • Excellent time management capabilities.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business management preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in the manufacturing sector.
  • At least two years of experience as a program manager in the aerospace industry.

Language Skills: Ability to comprehend basic safety and manufacturing instructions.

Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations.

Reasoning Ability: Capability to apply common sense to execute detailed instructions and address problems with defined variables.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must be authorized to work in the United States and comply with U.S. export control regulations.

Physical Demands: The role may require regular standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds, along with other physical activities.

Work Environment: Employees may encounter various occupational hazards and are required to adhere to safety protocols.
