Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of new components and products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for inspection processes.
- Verify the presence of inspection reports and Certificates of Conformance with shipments.
- Measure and inspect critical dimensions and features of parts.
- Document inspection results in our Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems and inspection check sheets.
- Support material handling and physical inventory processes.
- Assist in writing and updating inspection procedures.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and engineers to optimize inspection methods.
- Maintain and calibrate test hardware.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Proficiency in using various inspection tools and metrology equipment.
- Experience with quality assurance in manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 procedures and quality management systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and standards.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent documentation and reporting abilities.
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office and MRP systems.
