KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the main liaison for customers, maintaining ongoing communication regarding schedules and addressing any concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide essential documentation and guidance regarding any challenges or delays affecting delivery timelines.
  • Take ownership of pricing, costs, inventory management, quality assurance, and delivery performance related to the assigned customer portfolio.
  • Utilize program management tools to track, monitor, and report on program performance metrics.
  • Prepare and deliver program presentations for both internal stakeholders and external clients, along with summary reports for leadership review.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure program execution meets quality, schedule, and budget commitments.
  • Accurately forecast customer demand for long-term planning and business strategy.
  • Employ ERP systems for transaction management and analytical purposes.
  • Develop and implement program plans and objectives to ensure commitments are fulfilled by monitoring and addressing variances in quality, schedule, and budget.

QUALIFICATIONS: To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proven management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD Inventor, Pro/Engineer, and web-based applications.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with Contract Terms and Conditions, Quality Clauses, and Pricing Models.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate shifting priorities and timelines.
  • Ability to garner cooperation from various stakeholders, including upper management and clients.
  • Experience handling large datasets and synthesizing information from multiple sources.
  • Excellent time management capabilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business management is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in the manufacturing sector.
  • At least two years of experience as a program manager in the aerospace industry.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Proficiency in understanding basic safety and manufacturing instructions.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense to follow detailed instructions and address problems involving concrete variables.

CERTIFICATIONS: Authorization to work in the United States is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The role requires regular standing, walking, and hearing, along with frequent use of hands and arms. The employee may need to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts and various occupational hazards, necessitating the use of personal protective equipment.
